Another door on the courtyard leads down to the roomy cave (10m2), with plentiful shelving already installed, and the underground car park where the two parking spaces are located.

From the courtyard, the door opens into an entrance hall shared with the chalet next door. The inner front door opens into a small second entrance area with a walk-in wardrobe directly in front of you for convenient storage.

Turn into the living/dining room proper, and you will find a comfortable open-plan space full of natural light spilling in through the two sets of patio doors. Two cosy sofas frame a coffee table. A round table with 5 chairs sits near the kitchen, and a larger table with 7 places nearer the stairs. The patio doors open onto the south-facing terrace and land, with stunning views of the mountains, and, in the winter, off-piste access to the ski slopes.

The open kitchen is to the right as you look out at the view. It is fully equipped with everything you might need, including appliances.

Near the stairs, a small alcove offers doors to a washing machine and an individual toilet. To the other side of the stairs, a large storage cupboard stands.

On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, both ensuite (one with bathtub, one with shower) and with doors out onto a shared south-facing balcony. Both have walk-in wardrobes and a leather armchair, and one has a second walk-in wardrobe and a locked door to the chalet next door. Off the landing, an individual toilet can be found.

On the second floor, the 3rd bedroom has a double bed, a door to a south-facing balcony shared with bedroom 4, a skylight, and a walk-in wardrobe. The 4th bedroom is very similar, but with 2 single beds and access to plentiful storage space less than 1.8m in height. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, washbasin, and access to a balcony overlooking the courtyard in front of the chalet.

The hamlet where this chalet is located is a haven of tranquillity, but this does not come at the cost of convenience: the centre of Meribel and all its amenities lie only a short drive away. Many of the neighbouring properties are rented out for some weeks of the year: the fantastic ski access and calm location guarantee great rental potential.

Meribel is well known for its unsurpassed skiing opportunities: it is ideally placed on the doorstep of the Three Valleys, with fast links into the Courchevel and Val Thorens ski areas either side. It is a lively and multicultural resort with life all year around, even in the quieter summer months when people visit for the walking and cycling trails.

Getting to Meribel is easy – there are frequent flights to several nearby airports including Chambery, Lyons, Geneva and Grenoble, plus Moutiers Eurostar and TGV terminal is just 20 minutes away.
